Ghana Girl Guide Association’s National Youth Coordinator, Frances Agyapong, has emphasized several effects and goals of the group.

She claimed, based on her own experiences, that the girl guide movement has had a significant impact on many girls in Ghana and around the world and continues to do so.

According to reports sighted on GhanaWeb, Mercy Bee the Ekumfi Princess stated, “Our goal is to train the girls to become responsible citizens in their country for themselves and for their families as well,” during an interview on the Girl Vibes program on e.tv Ghana.

As a result, the initiatives we run, as well as our advocacy and leadership programs, educate and prepare the girls for life.

“We encourage girls and women to be self-assured and capable of speaking up in public.”

“So all of our craft instruction and other training are having a significant impact on the girls. I have firsthand knowledge of it, and I believe any association member can concur. We want to encourage more girls to go through what we are still going through,” she emphasized.
