With immediate effect, coach Otto Addo has resigned from his position as the head of the Black Stars technical staff.

This choice was made following the Black Stars’ elimination from the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup as a result of their 2-0 loss to Uruguay on December 2.

Otto Addo made a hint before the World Cup even started that he would leave his position after the event, regardless of how well Ghana did.

“In Germany, my family and I are content. Even if we win the World Cup and are crowned champions, I promised I would step aside. I’ve resigned as the coach for Ghana, “In his post-match press conference, Otto Addo stated.

Otto Addo, the coach of Ghana’s Black Stars, has retired from coaching.
