Frederick Adu Amankwah, a Ghanaian living in France, has revealed that he regrets leaving behind his crane operation job in Ghana, which paid GH2,000 plus travel allowances to Europe.

Frederick revealed on Daily Hustle Worldwide that his decision causes him to cry at times. Adu stated that he was content with his job in Ghana until his sister sponsored his trip to France.

Mr. Amankwah stated that he went to the Ghana embassy in France for documents to process his return home, but they convinced him to stay.
“I told my sister that if I had known I would be stranded due to paperwork, I would not have come here.”

My white employers begged me to work in Ghana, and I received transportation allowances as well.

“I needed to work to pay my rent, but it wasn’t a job I wanted.” My sister had to send me food money. It’s not easy; I cry at times,” he admitted to DJ Nyaami.

He has been in France for six years, according to Frederick, but he is unhappy. He went on to say that he asked his sister for assistance, but she “said that if I passed through Libya, I wouldn’t ask her for that help.”

Furthermore, the father of two stated that his current job pays 500 euros, but he only receives half of that amount.

“I’m proud to say that I’d like to visit Ghana.” I went to the Ghana embassy here for documents to be returned, but they said some were crossing the sea, and I want to return. “They convinced me to stay,” he added.
