The Black Stars of Ghana have received a stern warning from Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez ahead of their pivotal match at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
He claims that every Uruguayan player will risk their lives to defeat Ghana and, hopefully, advance to the next round.
The former Barcelona great claimed in a press conference before the match on Friday, 2 December, that given his nation’s point total, they must defeat Ghana.
“We just have one point, and the decisive game against Ghana is tomorrow. To please our supporters, we have no choice except to win,” remarked Luis Suarez.
“We are going to put our lives and souls into this last match,” the Uruguayan attacker continued. Although Ghana is a good team, we are familiar with them, have defeated them before, and know how to do so once more.
